Any type of blue cheese is suitable for this steak sauce. Experiment with different types to find your favourite.
Ingredients
- 150g blue cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
Directions
- Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan and mash the blue cheese into the cream.
- Warm until melted.
- Season with freshly ground black pepper.
- Serve over steak.
If the sauce is too runny, thicken it with a little cornflour and water.
