Ingredients

  • Button mushrooms
  • White wine
  • Olive Oil
  • Garlic, crushed
  • Fresh Thyme, 3 to 4 sprigs
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

Directions

  • Wash the mushrooms and remove the stalks. Pat dry.
  • Combine all the other ingredients in a baking dish and whisk together.
  • Add the mushrooms
  • Bake with a lid on for 15 to 20 minutes

Serve with steak and crusty bread to mop up the juices.

Use some of the liquid to make a steak sauce by adding cream and worcestershire sauce in the steak pan while the steak is resting.
